    The Queensland Indigenous (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Procurement Policy provides a whole-of-government framework to increase procurement with Indigenous businesses.

  • Building and Construction Training Policy

    The Building and Construction Training Policy promotes, encourages and creates skills development, employment and business opportunities for Aboriginal people and Torres Strait Islanders in relation to Queensland Government building and civil construction projects.

  • Alcohol Management Plan

    The Queensland Government is committed to working with Indigenous communities to review Alcohol Management Plans.

  • Welfare reform

    The state government has committed to work with the federal government, the Cape York Institute for Policy and Leadership and local leaders on welfare reforms in 4 Cape York communities: Aurukun, Hope Vale, Coen and Mossman Gorge.
