Tori Robe-Broome

Tor-quaisia Robe-Broome's dad Miles Broome is Butchella, and mother Daveena Robe is Butchella and South Sea Islander from Tanna Island.

Tor-quaisia is in year 11 at Hervey Bay High School. Her favourite subjects are Childhood Studies, Home Ec and Sports.

Tor-quaisia has a passion for singing, and her favourite music genre to sing depends on the mood she is in! She started in the school choir in primary school, and then began to sing in school eisteddfods, and in 2008 was the only singer/songwriter performing at the estedford. She has since gained a place performing as part of the Hervey Bay Arts Council.

After finishing high school, Tor-quaisia has plans of attending the Indigenous Performing Arts School in Brisbane to peruse a singing and performing career!

Tor-quaisia sings in memory of her cousin Ivy, who she used to sing with regularly. Because of this, Tor-quaisia likes to focus on singing songs with meaning and of spiritual significance.

Tori's other passions in life include Boxing, touch football, lifesaving, and socialising! Tori's other achievement includes receiving a medallion awarded from the Queensland Police Service for saving a person's life.

Tori also has a strong desire to set a good example for others and be a positive role model for her friends and others!
