Publication scheme

The publication scheme describes and categorises information routinely available from the department. It has been developed to give the community greater access to information held by government. Information is grouped and accessible through seven classes:

  • About us

    This class of information in our publication scheme provides information about who we are and what we do, Agency information, location and contacts, constitutional and legal governance.

  • Our services

    This class of information in our publication scheme provides a description of services offered by the agency, including advice and guidance, booklets and leaflets, transactions and media releases.

  • Our finances

    This class of information in our publication scheme provides information about what we spend and how we spend it; Financial information relating to projected and actual income and expenditure, tendering, procurement and contracts.

  • Our priorities

    What our priorities are and how we are doing; Strategy and performance information, plans assessments, inspections and reviews.

  • Our decisions

    How we make decisions. Policy proposals and decisions, decision making processes, internal criteria and procedures, consultations.

  • Our policies

    This class of information in our publication scheme provides information about our policies and procedures, current written protocols for delivering our functions and responsibilities.

  • Our lists

    This class of information in our publication scheme provides information on lists and Registers. Information held in registers required by law and other lists and registers relating to the functions of the agency.

  • Gifts and Benefits Register

    This register shows gifts and benefits valued at more than $150 that have been given and received by DATSIP and its employees. This may include multiple gifts or benefits, where their total value exceeds $150 in a financial year. The register is updated each quarter.
