Mark Furner MP

Minister for Local Government and Minister for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships

The Honourable Mark Furner became the Minister for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships in February, 2017.

Mr Furner is also the Minister for Local Government and was elected to Parliament as the Member for Ferny Grove at the 2015 election.

Previously, Mr Furner served as a Senator for Queensland and worked with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities throughout the state with a particular focus on reducing disadvantage.

Mark Furner is married to Lorraine, together they have 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren.
